Do TCA facial peels take away static smiles around the eyes and across the cheeks?

Has anyone had a full face Tca peel? Do they work? Are they worth the money? I am considering one for lines around my eyes on my cheeks. I guess I smile too much.Do TCA facial peels take away static smiles around the eyes and across the cheeks?
I have never had one but am scheduled to talk with a (board-certified) dermatologist next week or so about the tca (medium depth) peel and am going to ask her about the 35% peel which is typically the highest percentage before other complications may occur such as scarring. The tca peel is supposed to help with fine lines and hyperpigmentation which I also have as it burns off (a controlled burn) the top layer of the skin, the epidermis. Some (laypeople) have said that the texture may come in sorta rubbery, however, I don't know firsthand. Downtime is said to be about 7-10 days of staying in the house and out of any sunlight (and out of the public ;) Just fyi, I was quoted a price over the phone of $800 for the tca peel and it must be paid upfront, at least at this particular derm.

There is a great message forum that has a board solely for chemical peels (and boards for other cosmetic procedures), but just a precaution, some of the postees actually buy the tca chemical from the internet and dilute it and do it themselves. However, please do Not do that as scarring and infection can occur even if the procedure is done by a qualified derm. The site url: www.makemeheal.com and there is a link for 'message boards'.
