Any ideas about frecles and acne scars,,like what i can do to lighten then like peels, facials,dermabrsion?

Facial - yes. Feels great. Gets you skin very clean...although if you only do it once it wont really do much. Needs to be a regular thing. You know, it's not like changing the oil in your car twice a year. More like...a monthly or bi-weekly tuneup.
I pay around 65 dollars though some places will do it for much less.

Yeah, it made my skin feel great. It was soooo worth it. It's like a massage but for your face. I actually went to a beauty school so it was like 15 or 20 dollars. Also, you can tell them not to do any extractions (they can hurt) if you're just doing it to relax.
Facial is a face mask - buy them in most shops. Not to expensive.. Tesco's Sainburys sell them? but you can get them in boots, superdrug etc. Faily cheap ones to. You can get an expensive one done too at the beautitions. they tend to be best.

Chemical Facial Peel....gone wrong??
i've been struggling with facial acne for year now. i had my second chemical peel on my face two days ago, by my dermatologist. I had my first one months ago and it turned out ok, but after the second one, my skin is full of terrible dry, rough patches.......basically my skin feels like sandpaper!!! I am spending the weekend with friends and going out and stuff and i want my skin to look nice and feel nice but i don't know why the dry patches arn't going away!! i put foundation on, but halfway through the day the dry spots soak it all up and my face looks awful. I am so embarassed. Is there anything i can do to get rid of the dry, flaky sections on my face?? i want to have fun this weekend and not worry about things like that!Chemical Facial Peel....gone wrong??

That has the main advantage that there is a professional giving you advice, who is interested in selling you something, yes - but in a different way than a regular shop assistant in a drug store or cosmetics department; at least pharmacists have studied their area and have not just been trained as sales staff.
The home facial peels are fine, so far there aren麓t any really cheap ones on the market I would tell you to stay away from. Though especially with moderate to dry skin, these intense peelings are probably not really for you; regular peelings once or twice a week will be just fine. :)Facial Peel?

No downtime and gives great result, but you have to come back for regular treatment. You usually see result as soon as first treatment and stop when your happy. With peel you have to do it every few months and are costly.

I have acne scars and would really like to get rid of them so that I don't have to worry about how to cover them up. Has anyone tried a facial peel that will make them disappear? My girl friend has told me to tell you to use Estee Lauder micro-dermabrasion. it is a heating facial scrub not as intensive as a facial peel and can be used as and when required. and a bargain at only 拢20-拢30.

You can try microdermabrasion that will run you about $100+ depending on where you go. Or for a more in depth skin care method, the best would be to go get a chemical peel and that can start at about $180+. Chemical peel goes deeper into the skin where as the micro you can where make up right away when your done. The chemical peel is a bit uncomfortable, but worth it.

i've done it b4 and i worked AWESOME!!! It really exfoliated my face and peeled all my dead skin off!....u can mix it with a little sugar and that would work extra great!!! The sugar chrystals would rub off any dead skin leaving ur skin soft and smooth...(like mine)~~~tha's how mine got soo smooth!!!! I love it..my skin glows and u can use it on ur chest...just the sugar(u miz the sugar with just enough water to make a paste) then rub it all over..or if u want soft skin allover u can us sugar and water as a body scrub!! i do that too!!!!

dont do that...get an exfoliating face wash is you don't already know thats the face wash with little round things in it that gets rid of the dead skin and black heads...they also have fash washes just for black heads try that not glue!!

Maybe it's been windy where you live recently? Your skin is probably dead on your face and it's peeling off naturally. Buy an exfloliating scrub to gently remove the dead skin. They also feel really nice and they are very good for your skin. You should only exfoliate once to twice a week though.

Chemical peels DO work. You have to go to the right person. Chemical peels were done to a friend of mine who had pretty moderate acne with a lot of scars. It took about 10 peels to finally see a difference however. I am not fond of microdermabrasion, lots of people do it wrong. It actually can do more damage than good. If you have ALOT of acne scars (severe), I would suggest going to a dermatologist and seeing what your options are. They can do dermabrasion which hurts ALOT but thats mostly for really severe acne. You can get it from most spas for around $40 - $60. You can also go for a series of glycolic peels which I have tried and had very good results.

It is now just a 1-step Retexturizing Peel, so it's more convenient. I haven't tried it myself, but I know people swear by it for acne scarring. Avon also has a Micro-Exfoliant that is an at home alternative to Micro-dermabrasion. Try both of them and I'm sure you will have some very nice skin.

Question about Glytone Mild Gel Wash and Glytone glycolic facial peel?
Today I went to my dermatologist and received a glycolic acid peel using Glytone products. I was wondering if anyone has had this particular procedure and whether it successfully eliminated acne.
The Dr. also said something about Glytone Mild Gel Wash (which contains a tiny, tiny amount of glycolic acid in the wash) By using this everyday, i could rejuvenate my skin cells and have a mini glycolic peel each day. It depends on the individual, but glycolic peels generally do help with acne. Glycolic acid is a chemical exfoliator, so the chemical basically removes the dead and and rough layers of your outer skin. The peels help reduce oiliness and make your skin smoother.

After getting a glycolic peel myself once, the therapist suggested I could try the gel wash, and I bought it for my boyfriend to try as he has bad acne. It really didn't help with the acne and in fact dried out his skin too much. It's also annoying to use because you have to rub it into your skin and wait a few minutes before you can wash it off. It's also quite expensive as well.

That depends on the peel, the home ones won't really do much, you need to use them repeatedly to really see any difference (they don't have a high enough concentration of the chemicals). Some spas will do peels but you need to go to a medi-spa or a dermatologist in order to get the really good ones and they aren't cheap. For a home or spa peel, your skin will feel nice and smooth but like I said, it'll take a few treatments to really see a difference. If you go with a medi-spa or a dermatologist, you'll need to take a week or so off work/school because you'll look like a sunburned monster but it will make the biggest immediate difference, even then you might need more than one treatment.
Really, it depends on your skin, you need to speak with a Dr. Also, you may not be able to do any of the above if you've been on certain medications. For example, if you've finished a round of accutane you need to wait 6 months before you can have any peels.

I suggest Olay Regenerist and Microdermation system. It is about $30 in the store but it works. I use to have a lot of acne scars and it helped minimize it as well as makes my face smooth. Yes, sounds like your problem isn't in the soap you are using, but the fact that you need a deep moisturizer. If it is concentrated around your nose you can apply the moisturizer to your face - let it dry - then reapply another layer just around your nose. This should help.

The steamer mainly works to open the pores so it would be best to keep to a minimum of ten minutes but it isn't bad. I wouldn't recommend it too much though since you don't really need to. With a chemical peel, it is made in such a way to penetrate the skin- thats a part of it's job and you will see that after the peel your pores will look a little enlarged even without steam. Just do without the steam and trust that the peel will do it's job.

2 tablespoons of amber light honey
2 tablespoons of cleanser and
3tablespoons of water ,
also try a mask before washing your face , if you have serous acne , use a thick creamy yet delicate mask for senstive skin ,and for normal to slightly oily skin use an apple peel mask

1/4 ounce packet gelatin (unflavored)
[edit] StepsAdd the green teabag to the cup of boiling water.
Steep for 10 minutes.
Remove teabag.
Put together a double boiler with simmering water.
Place quarter cup tea, quarter cup peach nectar and gelatin in the double boiler.
Stir together until gelatin dissolves. Allow it to thicken. This will take about 1 - 2 minutes.
Remove and refrigerate the thickened mixture for half an hour.
Create your face peel mask. Using a thick makeup brush or your fingertips, spread the mixture over your face. Only make a thin layer.
Allow mask to set. Leave for approx 5 to 10 minutes.
Peel off the mask.
Rince your face with cool water. Pat dry and moisturize.

(which means what are some things that can make this peel go wrong?) Like you have to make sure not to tan at least a week prior to the treatment. Next time you ger a sunburn keep your face moist with Aloe Vera and you should not have the peeling.

4. I'm planning to buy the syringes for more precise dilute measurement. The syringes are plastic material with the rubber stopper insider, is it safe? Would the glycolic acid melt it?
I have acne prone combination skin. T-zone are oily in summer, and starting to have acne on my cheek.
I really don't want my face to peel, I don't mind to do the peel gradually, or a mini mask type of thing everyday.

70% GA is a medical level peel. and there are things which you have not said in your post or may not know. Particularly the pH level of the acid. (a pH level of 6 is 10 times stronger in acidity than neutral (7). But a pH of 5 is 100 times stronger.. I bet even the supplier has a warning that states that is should only be used by a professional.
Acid burns cause scarring too. If you do not have experience in chemistry or medicine, I strongly advise you attemting this. Even medical aestheticians will not attempt this without accurate information pertaining the the percentage and pH of the acid.
And if any of this gets into your eyes, you will be in real trouble. Clients/patients who have this done have their eyes protected.
I work with these acids and I know what I am talking about.
This is not something that I will help you with.

Does Mederma or Neutrogena Facial Peel works better for pimple scars?
Ok, I have a few nasty pimple scars. Just wanted to try out these two products but I don't know which one is better. Recommendations would be nice. I have oily skin by the way. I verified with the salon that I was pregnant and the woman used all natural facial creams on me. Usually salons have special treatments for pregnant women if you let them know ahead of time. How far along are you? My complexion has actually improved the longer I've been pregnant. Now at 27 weeks without a pimple :) I'd recommend a facial because the massage you get with it relieves a lot of stress. Treat yourself!

Why has my facial skin been peeling so much lately?
Here's some info.:
-15 year old male, acneic skin that's now clearing because of the skin peeling.
-I went from Santa Barbara, to dry Las Vegas recently (for vacation), for a few months vacation, and my diet's gotten better since I got here.
-I'm happy that my skin's peeling, but it's doing it a third time now all of a sudden.Why has my facial skin been peeling so much lately?
Dry skin can be from a lack of omega 3s or lack of iron only you can tell. Have you been sunburned, wind blown, ?This can also cause skin to peel.
Iron deficency test: Go to the mirror and pull your lower eyelid and see if the color is red or flesh color. If its flesh colored you are lacking enough iron and should take a herbal iron like Floradix. It will take a month to see a difference. Iron carrys oxygen in your blood and if you dont have it you will feel tired, cold hands and feet, headaches, RLS, dull brittle hair, brittle nails, poor sleep, pale skin (see thru), shortness of breath, fatigue, poor concentration, low mood, ringing in the ears, irregular heart beats, cracks in the corner of the mouth, dizziness, fainting, sore tongue and canker sores. Add b12 and folic acid for best results

i think it is like 2% Salicylic Acid.. is that too little for it to work well? i am hoping it could peel off the bad acne scar skin and grow new skin over it.. what should i get to get that result?

Or one of those exfoliating kits that clean your face real good. I have some acne scars (not bad though) and a little acne that would just go away if I didn't wear makeup.
